Stojko wrote a book in 1978 - 'Letters to God's eye: The Voynich manuscript for the first time deciphered and translated into English' (Vantage Press): in which he stated that the Voynich Manuscript is a copy of a series of letters in Ukrainian. (There is, however evidence that the VM originates from what would now be described as northern Italy - though a cultural communication with what is now the Ukraine is not impossible.)
